We're seeking a versatile and detail-oriented CAD Drafter/Designer to support our custom home projects from initial design through construction documentation. You'll collaborate with our founder, project managers, and field teams to create permit-ready plans, refine client concepts, and develop precise technical drawings that set each project up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft architectural plans and construction documents using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent)
• Translate conceptual designs into detailed working drawings for permitting and construction
• Work closely with the founder, superintendents, and estimating team to ensure constructability and alignment with project scope
• Assist with revisions based on client feedback, code compliance, and redlines from local agencies or consultants
• Maintain drawing standards, templates, and organized project file systems
• Contribute to material takeoffs or schedules as needed
• Support submittals for building permits and coordinate with city departments when required

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable drafting/design software
• 2 or more years of experience in architectural drafting, ideally in custom residential construction
• Solid understanding of California building codes and permitting processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Comfortable collaborating with field and office teams in a startup-like environment
• Ability to manage time and priorities across multiple active projects
• A degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Full time position
• Competitive salary range at  $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience.
