Construction Project Coordinator

Heyday Build - Altadena, CA (On-site)

Heyday Build is hiring a Construction Project Coordinator to support residential rebuilding projects in Altadena, CA. This role focuses on coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and supporting daily construction operations.

Heyday Build brings over 25 years of experience in residential construction, with a focus on quality, sustainability, and community impact. Current projects include rebuilding homes affected by recent wildfires in the Altadena area.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for subcontractors, supporting scheduling, communication, and issue resolution
• Maintain project schedules, calendars, and task tracking to keep projects on timeline
• Coordinate material orders and deliveries to support construction progress
• Assist with subcontractor documentation, including licenses, insurance, and contracts
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and change orders accurately
• Maintain organized project files, schedules, and inspection records
• Track material selections and approvals to ensure timely communication with trades
• Provide administrative support to project managers and field teams

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, administrative support, or a related field (residential construction preferred)
• Spanish-English bilingual required to communicate with subcontractors and field teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience managing schedules and tracking multiple tasks
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and project management tools (e.g., Buildertrend or similar)
• Ability to work on-site in Altadena, CA

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 position
• Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 per year
• Paid time off and holidays
• Health benefits: not currently offered; planned as the company grows
